Today, we are excited to announce Zet Universe Insider Program!
Since 2012 when we've started working on the product, we had a dream to enable people who multitask a lot at their jobs, whose job is keep multiple projects running, who think visually, who can't live with the boring endless lists, and who love to organize the chaos of their work, to be the champions in their jobs.
In 2013 we shipped our first Alpha bits to you - a raw, big, clumsy prototype of what we've envisioned in the beginning.
We've got a lot of great feedback, but we've also learned how important for you is to make Zet Universe small, simple, and fast, and together with our investors (Alex Chachava and Sergey Toporov of LETA Capital, Kirill Klokov, Alexey Zhestkov, Anton Ivanov of Universe Ventures, and Igor Ryabenkiy of Altair.VC) and mentors (Skip Walter, Natalia Tylevich, Rick Rundell, Dinesh Chheda, Pavel Kuzmenko, and Juergen Koehler), we've restarted the product from scratch. Our pre-beta has been ready by end of 2013, but after sharing it with few of you, our fellow Insiders, we've figured out that we didn't get where we wanted to get to, and so we've returned back to our developer tools.
We learned that in big organizations it's common to use different productivity tools, and one division might use Dropbox, while another one might use Google Drive; one team might use Slack for fast communications, while another might be living solely in Yammer. We've learned that project managers have to use all these myriads of productivity tools to stay on top of the project communications. Finally, we've learned that you struggle keeping everything in your mind, and that you need help.
PROJECT COMMUNICATION DASHBOARD
Zet Universe starts like Microsoft Cortana and Google Now, by asking you to integrate it with your productivity tools - Dropbox, Gmail, and so on. But while intelligent personal assistants mostly use the power of machine learning to notify you about something useful for you, Zet Universe is more focused on using combined human and artificial intelligence to show what's important to you.
Zet Universe will also learn from the way you organize your project data and will automatically classify incoming project items into your visual groups.
As we'll be moving towards the v1 release, we will also allow you to create own rules to automatically organize the incoming information, utilizing the power of the combined human and artificial intelligence in a manner similar to Palantir, to help you stay on top of your project communications, and to protect you from the unwanted interruptions, allowing you to get back the control of your productivity.
Today, it's just the beginning, and Zet Universe is making its first baby steps towards this ambitious vision.
We'll publish a separate post with the link to the product installer to our blog and in our Facebook group later today, and we encourage you to download the Insider Preview and let us know what you think.
This is just the first chapter of our conversation with you about Zet Universe, and we are thrilled to hear from you and learn what you think about the product.
