There is a lot of excitement in both the business and academic spheres around the opportunity of uniting data scientists and big data processing technologies together; this approach is commonly known as "Augmented Intelligence". But most of these technologies are building blocks, and most often individual users cannot afford inviting and hosting dedicated data scientists teams at their locations to organize and analyze their projects, as it is suggested by Palantir. At the same time, although Quid is quite user friendly, customers cannot use such tools as these tools can't work with users' data sources, but only work with the public and commercial data sources like Bloomberg Network.
Today, before users like project managers can realize the promise of big data tailored to their specific needs, they have to hire companies like Palantir to carefully mine, analyze, and organize their data. In contrast, we believe that there is another, new way, that could use the expertise users already possess in combination with the big data processing algorithms, and produce similar results but at the bigger scale.
